The 3rd annual, Original Bay area party of... St Valentines Day Massacre A 20’s and 30’s themed party!
The Deadite Empire originally thought that tying in 20s & 30s gangsters with the history of the local city was a well-rounded match. Three years later, and other promoters/bars following suite, we would have to say we were right. So come celebrate the great depression for a second time (in this recession that should be easy) with The Deadite Empire. No matter if you want to get “togged to the bricks” for the time era theme, or add a zombie twist to it, it should be one “whacky wingding”. And don’t forget, we will have that free “giggle water” or “zombie shots” to you undead folk flowing that night per usual! So don’t be a “wet blanket” get ready for a night on the town! Place: The Dirty Shame corner of 7th Ave & soth St Ybor City Date& Time: Feb 13th Saturday 9 p.m. – 3 a.m. Age: 18+ Door: $5 (Perks are good drink specials at both bars with wristband, including some free shots!) Theme: 20s & 30s, gangsters of that era (not ganstas), zombies or non-zombies alike, either way the theme is 20s & 30s of all costumes and lifestyles! Contests & Games: Dance contest (we did the Charleston dance the past two years), and other fun surprises! Links for you non dancing type that want an idea of what to do! One, Two, Three! Pub Crawl: Yes we will be going to Reservoir Bar again! This pub crawl is not going to be the usual type that we hold so don’t ask what time the crawl is. Just sit tight, have fun, and you will find out at the event when it is time to go to the Rez. Music: Will be a mix of modern, as well as big band and other music of older times. Drink Specials: There will be drink specials, pay attention on our site and in our posts for the “password” to get your free “giggle water”! FX Artists: Of course we will have our lovely FX Artists to help you with your zombification or simply your makeup of the era! $10-20 per face depending on detail and tips are appreciated. Vendors: You might see a vendor or two as well so bring some extra bucks for whatever catches your fancy. We are not having an RSVP for this or future events being they are not realistic anymore for any promoter. So all we ask is that you pass the word along.
